EFI, a manufacturer of customer-focused printing and packaging industry products, has announced that label and packaging provider Whitlam Label has selected EFI Radius as its new MIS/ERP software.

In business for 55 years, Whitlam Label produces pressure sensitive labels primarily for the automotive and durable label markets. The company has experienced steady growth over the years, and their old EFI PSI system was no longer meeting its business management needs.

“After taking a close look at EFI Radius, we selected the system because of its specific focus on labels and packaging, the stability of EFI as a service provider, and the scalable nature of the platform that will allow it to grow with us as our business grows,” says Alex Elezaj, chief operating officer at Whitlam Label. The company’s plant in Detroit will run the Radius software, which is expected to be fully implemented by early fall.

“The real-time data collection and business intelligence will be huge, allowing us to make more informed, proactive business decisions,” adds Elezaj. “We’ll be able to dig into how the presses are running, look at operator performance, see profitability information, and more, which will enable us to be more efficient and to provide even higher levels of customer service.”
